The lower level of the rest area will be closed for the whole duration of this work. The upper-level rest area will be split and used for both light and heavy vehicle parking during this time.

A full closure of the rest area will occur on the following dates:

• Thursday 14 August 
• Monday 20 October to Saturday 25 October

Motorists can check the NSW Rest Area map for alternative rest stops when planning their trip.

Contraflow traffic conditions will be in place to allow motorists to pass in both directions. Motorists are advised to allow approximately 5 minutes of additional travel time.

Oversize and/or overmass (OSOM) vehicles should use the allocated pullover bays and contact traffic control personnel via UHF channel 20 to arrange access through the work site.
