Fire Incidents

A grass fire is burning in the **Beni** area, on both sides of **Dunedoo Rd/Golden Highway**. The fire is currently more than 209 hectares and is being controlled.

A bush fire is burning south of Booral Road and on both sides of the Pacific Highway. The fire is over 2685 hectares and is not yet controlled. Smoke drifted across the Lower Hunter, Central Coast and south to Sydney overnight, this smoke is expected to clear as the winds increase through the morning.

There is a bush fire burning in the Goulburn River National Park in the Merriwa River valley area. The fire is currently more than 8600 hectares in size and is being controlled.
